If you don’t like Instant Pot Lemon Cake than you can use Cherry Coke and Chocolate cake or any flavor cake and soda you may like. Use the same Instant Pot Directions and I am sure it will turn out just as delicious as this one did.
What Pan Did You Use for 7-Up Instant Pot Cake
I did use my new CHEFMADE 7 Inch Bundt Cake Pan for this recipe, it fits in my 8qt Instant Pot but this one will fit easily in the 6qt as well.

Can I Use A Spring Form Pan Instead of A Bundt Cake Pan
Absolutely! Just make sure the pan easily fits into your Instant Pot. I used a bundt cake pan cause that is what I have, but you are welcome to change out the pan to fit what you have on hand.
How To Dress Up The 7 Up Cake
I personally love to dust on powdered sugar. It adds the presentation factor and a slight sweetness. You could also sprinkle on fresh lemon and or lime zest for a pop of color. Or mix milk with powdered sugar to make a sweet glaze to drizzle over the top.
Best Way To Store Instant Pot 7Up Cake
Feel free to store on the counter in an airtight container or even in the fridge. Both methods work great and will keep your cake moist and fresh. You will want to eat your cake within 3-5 days. As each day the cake will become a bit drier in texture.
Can You Freeze 7Up Cake
Yes. Just allow the cake to cool completely then wrap in aluminum foil. Then place in a freezer bag or container and store in the freezer for three months. Thaw on the counter or in the fridge when you are ready to serve. If you are freezing the whole cake, wait to sprinkle powdered sugar over the top, as it will dissolve into the cake when thawed.
I have also gone ahead and sliced the cake before and froze into individual servings so when I had a craving for a piece of cake I could grab a slice and eat it. Best decision ever!

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup 7-up soda
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- Cooking spray
- Place 1 cup water in your pan and put trivet in the pot.
- place pot on saute.
- Mix together cake mix, soda, eggs, and oil.
- Spray your bundt pan with cooking spray.
- Pour into mixture into your pan. (don't overfill).
- Place your pan on the trivet.
- Cook on manual, High pressure for 45 minutes.
- Do a Quick release.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar optional.
