Tips & Tricks
- Select Fresh Green Beans: Choose fresh green beans with vibrant color and firm texture for the best results. Avoid beans that are wilted or have blemishes.
- Even Coating: Ensure that the green beans are evenly coated in flour, egg, and breadcrumb mixture to achieve a consistent crunch.
- Preheat the Air Fryer or Oven: Preheating your air fryer or oven helps to ensure that the Green Bean Fries cook evenly and become crispy.
- Use Parchment Paper: Line your air fryer basket or baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the Fries from sticking and make cleanup easier.
- Don’t Overcrowd: Arrange the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket or on the baking sheet to allow for proper air circulation and even cooking. Avoid overcrowding to ensure crispy results.
- Flip or Shake: If using the air fryer, flip or shake the basket halfway through the cooking time to ensure that the Fries cook evenly on all sides.
- Check for Doneness: Keep an eye on them towards the end of the cooking time to prevent them from burning. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.
- Season to Taste: Feel free to customize the seasoning mixture to suit your taste preferences. Add herbs, spices, or additional cheese for extra flavor.
- Serve Immediately: Green Bean Fries are best enjoyed hot and fresh from the air fryer or oven. Serve them immediately with your favorite dipping sauce for the ultimate snack or side dish experience.
- Store Properly: If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator. To reheat, place them in the air fryer or oven for a few minutes until heated through and crispy again.

Do you use fresh grated Parmesan cheese or the powder one?
@Elizabeth, you could use either, but fresh is always better
Delicious and simple to make. Instead of garlic powder, I use different spice blends depending on what flavor profile I am going after. Same with the dips. You can use the simple sriracha mayo, ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, marinara sauce. Experiment with the flavors YOU like.
