Get Some Exercise
Exercise will help you to fall asleep easier at night and get a better quality of sleep. People used to think that exercising in the evening affected sleep quality, but it seems this is no longer the case. Exercising in the evening might make it a little harder to drop off, but studies found a better quality of sleep was had overall. It doesn’t matter when you exercise, as long as you do!
Have A Hot Bath Before Bed
A hot bath before bed will cause our body temperature to drop, which will make us sleepier and ready to hit the hay. Add essential oils for even more relaxation.
Get Rid Of All Lights
If there’s any light in your bedroom, even a small one, get rid of it. The best quality sleep is achieved when we’re in total darkness.
Make sure you’re taking the time to wind down before bed. Avoid TV and other stimulants for at least an hour. Drink sleep tea, and read a book. You could even dim the lights.
