Buffalo Chicken Bites for back to school lunches
Back to School is already here it feels like just yesterday was the first day of summer. The hustle and bustle of the school year began and before you know it the Holiday season will be here. Both of my kids are in after school sports so my day starts at 6am and we are all back home by 7 or 8pm. I always make sure we have dinner together at the table. Making sure my kids have a nutritious lunch that they will actually eat is always a struggle. My kids both love spicy foods. I like to make extra special lunches for my kids to take to school. Lunches that are healthy and tasty. Buffalo Chicken Bites for back to school lunches are a big hit. My kids actually came home with empty lunch boxes and a full belly.
To make Buffalo Chicken Bites I started out using Nature’s Harvest® Bread, generous amounts of turkey breast, and a few tablespoons of buffalo sauce. I cut the sandwich up into bite size pieces. I have even cut my kids sandwiches into their favorite shapes using cookie cutters. I try to send all bite size foods in with the lunch. I think my kids do much better with bite size foods. They seem to come home with empty lunch pals. I do the bite-size sandwich, bite-size carrot sticks, and Entenmann’s® Little Bites™ snacks. I feel confident my kids got a nutritious lunch Nature’s Harvest® whole grain breads, baked with at least 8 grams of whole grains per serving, and without high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors or colors. I love being able to feed my kids a healthier lunch that they enjoy eating.
To add even more fun to lunch Nature’s Harvest bread and Little Bites is holding a $10,000 Savings Bond Sweepstakes. Head over to www.lifeofthelunchbox.com and enter to win.
