Tips & Tricks
The sheet pan nachos game is strong and if you want to make the most flavorful steak nachos, there are a few secrets you should know.
- 1. Choose quality steak – Quality steak is crucial for steak nachos. For the best steak nachos, look for a steak that has a good amount of marbling. This will ensure maximum flavor and tenderness for the steak in your nachos.
- 2. Use the right toppings – Toppings can make or break nachos. For a classic experience, use freshly grated cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, sour cream, jalapenos, and cilantro.
- 3. Cook steak in oil – To get a steak that is golden brown and crispy, cook steak in a hot pan with oil. The steak should be cooked for about 3 minutes per side until the steak is cooked through and lightly browned.
- 5. Layer steak and cheese – To ensure steak nachos with maximum flavor, layer steak pieces, and cheese before baking in the oven. This will help the steak to stay juicy and flavorful, while also preventing the steak from drying out.
