I love homemade tortilla chips so much more than store-bought they are perfectly crispy and are best dipped in Smoked Queso, Campfire Queso, Or Chili Queso.

Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Tortilla Chips

  • 6-8 Corn Tortilla: I used extra thin yellow corn tortillas, but you can use regular corn tortillas or flour.
  • Olive Oil: I used olive oil but also you can use vegetable oil or avocado oil.
  • Salt: Kosher Salt.

Step-by-Step Directions For Tortilla Chips:

Step 1: Cut Tortilla Triangles

  1. Pre-heat Air Fryer to 390 degrees.
  2. Cut the tortilla down the center.
  3. Cut Each half in thirds.

Second Step: Coat with Oil

  1. Coat each chip with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place tortilla chips in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air Fry for 3 minutes shake the basket and flip the chips cook for another minute or two.
  5. Remove from the air fryer basket and serve.

Oven Directions: Place tortillas in a single layer on a cookie sheet or baking sheet. Coat with oil and bake at 400 degrees for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

    • Watch closely they will burn fast once they turn brown.
