  • One Can of Crushed Pineapple: Not drained.
  • One Can Cherry Pie Filling
  • Vanilla Cake Mix: Use Dry Cake Mix.
  • Butter: One and a half sticks of butter sliced.

Step by Step Directions for:

Cherry Pineapple Dump Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Pour Crushed Pineapple with juice into the bottom of the 9×13 baking pan.
  3. Spread Cherry Pie Filling over the pineapples.
  4. Sprinkle the entire vanilla boxed cake mix over the fruit.
  5. Pat down the cake.
  6. Place pads of butter all over the top of the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove and serve with ice cream.
