The Jungle Book Premiere

Growing up in Utica, NY you don’t have any chances to meet stars or go walk the Red Carpet. The most you get to do is go see a Comets game. I still can not process everything that I did during the #JungleBookEvent. ME, a girl from Utica, New York rubbing elbows with the stars, seeing the Premiere of The Jungle Book, Walking on the Red Carpet, and going to the VIP party after. Can you pinch me now? I am still unsure if it all really happened. Luckily, I have photos to prove it did happen.

On our way to the Premiere of The Jungle Book we walked down the stairs that they use for the Oscars. Everyone said to walk slowly down the red carpet and take it all in. I don’t think there is a way to process everything that was going on. They literally block off the street with baracades and roll out the red carpet. There were people lining the streets everywhere. I did do a facebook live video you can see. It was hard to hear me but I wanted everyone to see what was going on.

They gave us our tickets for the Premiere and special wrist bands to wear to get in the theater and the after party. There were stars everywhere getting photos and interviews going on. When get got in the theater they take your phones and cameras away. The experience was amazing. We sat in the second row right behind some stars from a Disney kids shows. Right behind me was Giancarlo Esposito / Akela. OMG I had a hard time to contain myself. There was a band playing while we waited to watch The Jungle Book in 3D. The whole experience was surreal.

The Party after the Premiere was pretty Amazing we went to the OHM Nightclub which was right across the street. Disney really knows how to throw a party. There was open bar, Churo stations, Turkey legs, Dole Whip, and tons of activities to make your own bee head bands. Everyone was mingling enjoying drinks and laughing. There was so much to do and see. I feel very thankful to be able to take part in such a memorable event.
