If you have an indoor grill you will love this simple Ninja Foodi Grill Chicken Recipe. Or you can head outdoors and grill your chicken if you prefer.

Can I Double This Greek Chicken Recipe

You are welcome to make as much or as little of this chicken as you would like. With the Foodi Grill you will have to just batch cook your chicken.

It only holds so much and you do not want to layer your chicken or you will get an uneven cook.

To keep your chicken warm as you cook the rest you can cover in foil on a plate or wrap up and place in a 200 degree oven to warm that way as well.

Boneless or Bone-In Greek Chicken

Can you use bone-in chicken for this recipe? The answer is yes. You are more than welcome to use boneless or bone-in.

Make sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches 165 internal temperature. If you use bone-in make sure that you do not put the thermometer on a bone. It will give you a false reading of temp.

How to Make Tzatziki Sauce

Tzatziki sauce is the perfect compliment to a Greek chicken. You will whip up a refreshing and light creamy sauce to store in the fridge and marinade.

It is best to make this creamy Tzatziki sauce early in the day so it has time to blend the flavors.

I share the full steps and instructions on how to make homemade Tzatziki sauce in the Pringle recipe card below.  Making your own sauce will really transform this chicken recipe.

How to Store Leftovers

Chicken can store in the fridge for up to three days. Just make sure you place in proper container and store at the right temperature.

Eat leftover chicken cold or warm it up in the microwave. I have loved slicing the chicken up and placing it on a salad mix leftover. Use the sauce in replace of dressing for a satisfying lunch or dinner!

Dress up your chicken with this Ninja Foodi Grill Chicken with Tzatziki sauce! Serve with some grilled veggies, pita bread, or any other of your favorite sides.

Ingredients

  • For the grilled chicken breasts:
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Juice of one medium lemon
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked pepper to taste
  • For the tzatziki sauce:
  • ½ cup finely grated cucumber
  • 1 cup of greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar
  • Juice of one medium lemon
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder (or 1-2 minced garlic cloves)

Instructions

For the chicken marinade, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a medium bowl. Pour into a Ziploc bag or container with the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Meanwhile, make the tzatziki sauce by first grating the cucumbers. Note: A tip for a thick sauce is to squeeze all of the excess cucumber juice out of the shreds before mixing with the remaining ingredients.

Add in the Greek yogurt, vinegar, garlic, lemon juice, and sea salt to taste in a bowl. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Heat up your Ninja Foodi grill to 400 degrees.

add the marinated chicken.

Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Remove from grill and allow the cooked chicken to rest.

To serve, plate sliced chicken over a bed of rice or stuffed into a pita and top with the creamy tzatziki sauce and a lemon wedge. Enjoy!
