Apple Crisp Macchiato
Apple Crisp Macchiato is the perfect fall coffee drink with all your favorite flavors in Apple pie, cinnamon, apples, and espresso topped off with an irresistible froth.

As soon as the leaves fall, I like to make my favorite Starbucks fall copycat drinks like Pumpkin Spice latte, and Eggnog Latte, with some Sous Vide Egg Bites delicious! Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato is one of my favorite fall drinks; I love both the iced and hot versions.

Apple Crisp Macchiato Ingredients

Apple Spiced Syrup Drizzle:
- Apple Juice: I used motts apple juice, but you can also use apple cider.
- Brown Sugar: If you do not have brown sugar, you can make your own homemade brown sugar
- Cinnamon Stick: You can substitute with ground cinnamon.
- Juice From 1 Lemon: You can also use concentrated lemon juice.
- Apple Pie Spice: If you do not have apple pie spice, you can make homemade apple pie spice.
The Brown Sugar Simple Syrup:
- Brown Sugar
- Purified Water
Milk Cold Foam:
- ¼ Cup Milk (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, soy milk) I used the Instant Pot Froth Maker it worked perfectly. When using Oatmilk, it does make the foam a brownish color.
Iced Apple Crisp Macchiato:
- Brown Sugar Simple Syrup
- Ice if you want Iced apple crisp macchiato
- Milk (whole milk, oat milk, almond milk, soy milk)
- Espresso or Strong Brewed Coffee Or Instant Pot Coffee Concentrate
- Milk Cold Foam
- Apple Spiced Syrup Drizzle

Step by Step Directions for Apple Crisp Macchiato
For the Apple Spiced Drizzle:
In a saucepan, combine the apple juice and brown sugar and dissolve the sugar over medium-high heat.
Lower the heat to medium-low and add the cinnamon stick, lemon juice, and apple pie spice.
Simmer for 15 minutes, frequently stirring, remove from the heat and set aside.

For the Brown Sugar Simple Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and purified water and heat over medium until the sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
Remove from the heat and set aside.



To make the Froth
Add ½ Cup of your milk of choice to the Instant Pot 4-in-1 Milk Frother and set on the cold foam setting. Set aside.
For iced, use the cold froth, and if you want hot, use the hot froth setting

For apple crisp macchiato ( Iced Version)
To a 16oz glass, add 2 Tbsp of the brown sugar simple syrup and 5-6 ice cubes. Gently pour in the ¾ cup of milk and then the shot of espresso. Gently pour over the cold foam and drizzle with the spiced apple drizzle. Enjoy!
For iced, use the cold froth, and if you want hot, use the hot froth setting

- Use store-bought apple syrup for a quick macchiato
- For Hot Apple, Crisp Macchiato do not add ice and use the hot froth option instead of cold.
