What makes this drink so fun for the kids is the cotton candy disappears in the drink! They will think it’s a magic trick and love the sugary sweetness they get to sip on. 

I have even seen where people make true cocktails using cotton candy, it’s pretty popular! 

Can I Use Something Else To Replace Ginger Ale

Of course! Lemon-lime soda would be a good replacement. Now I used a pinkish colored ginger ale. You could always color the pop a little or use colored cotton candy to give it a fun color. 

Either way, whether it’s colored or not they will love sipping on it. The biggest thing is to use a light-colored pop or sparkling water so they can see the cotton candy disappear in the glass. 

Can I Make These Mocktails Ahead Of Time

You can partially make your Mocktail ahead of time. Get your glasses out and place the cotton candy in each. 

Then right before you serve up the kids pour the soda in and garnish. That way they see the magic happen.
