Could I Use Chicken Instead Of Turkey

Essentially you can use any lunch meat or deli style sliced meat. I would think chicken could be a delicious alternative to turkey meat.

The biggest thing to remember is to not get meat that has a ton of seasonings and spices on it. As it will add to the overall flavor of the dish. You won’t want it to clash with the stuffing flavors.

Can I Use Any Style of Stuffing

Feel free to use any style of stuffing you like. Whether it is a homemade stuffing or consider buying boxed. Turkey stuffing would be a great fit or even a cornbread style stuffing recipe.

I made this a few night ago at my sisters suggestion. What a hit, my husband and I love it! I add some sautéed celery, onions and sage to the pre made stuffing cubes. Also added “Gravy Master” to the Heinz Turkey gravy, truly enhances the flavor. Topped off with some fresh black pepper and parsley. Served along side with cranberry sauces, rice and steamed carrots, a mini Thanksgiving. BTW….Can purchase Gravy Master at most grocery stores.

I wonder if I can make these the night before and then have them ready to pop in the oven?
