How To For Beer Bottle Burgers
You will want to form burgers and then use the beer bottle to push down the center of the burger. This is going to create a well. Then you can stuff your hamburger with any of your favorite fillings.
Caramelized Onions and Blue Cheese
This is one of my favorite combinations. Blue cheese adds a nice tartness and then the savory and slightly sweet onions really add a nice flavor. Plus you are wrapping burgers in bacon for added flavor.
Mushrooms and Cheddar
Another combo I did was sliced mushrooms and cheddar. This was my husband’s favorite out of the two. I have to admit it was hard to resist eating these burgers.
How Long To Cook Beer Can Burgers In Air Fryer
So, this is up to you. Everyone prefers to cook their hamburgers differently. If you want a well-done burger, you will want to ensure that you cook it longer. Or if you want a little pink in the center pull it sooner.
The biggest thing is to ensure the bacon fully cooks around the burger. I had no trouble getting it to cook at the same time frame as the stuffed hamburger.
How to Keep Bacon On Wrapped Hamburger
You will use toothpicks to secure the bacon onto the burgers. If you want to soak your toothpicks for 5 minutes so they soak up some moisture. This will help prevent the toothpicks from burning in your air fryer.
You are welcome to leave the bacon off if you prefer a burger without bacon.
