Instant Pot Homemade Hot Apple Cider is a cozy fall drink made with fresh apples, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. The pressure cooker brings out the apple flavor and creates a delicious homemade cider you can enjoy hot or cold.
I love making homemade apple cider when the weather turns chilly. The apples and cinnamon make the kitchen smell amazing, and there’s nothing better than relaxing with a warm mug on a cool fall day.

Oh Yummy…Thanks So Much for Sharing this Awesome Recipe for Homemade Hot Apple Cider, I Really Appreciate it b/c I Love Apple Cider! Nothings Beats a Good Hot Mug of Apple Cider When it’s Cold Outside but I Don’t Have a Good Recipe for it So I’m Excited About this One! You Could Probably Even Eat the Yummy Apples Instead of Just Throwing Them Out b/c I Bet if You Added a Little Butter to the Apples They Would Be Delicious! Well Thanks Again for Sharing, Have a Blessed Day! – Jana
I am sooooo making this! Thanks and love your recipes!
What apples work best for this?
How much water do you add if you are using a slow cooker for the Apple cider recipe?
Do you think I could reheat this?
I see ground cloves in the ingredients, but I do not see when you add them.
Directions for this recipe say fill to max line then cook under pressure. The photo looks like it might be safely at 2/3 full, but for most (all?) Instant Pots the max line is actually only for slow cooking and too high for pressure cooking.
