Do You Strain Instant Pot Apple Cider Before Serving

Yes, you will want to run it through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth. This will catch the apple pieces and such to make it a sweet and incredible drink recipe.

This will give you a smooth drink without pieces in it.

Do You Drink Apple Cider Hot Or Cold

You can drink apple cider cold or hot. Most of the time you will find that apple cider is served warm, but I actually love it chilled. It is great to sip on for breakfast or a mid-day pick me up.

If you want to warm it up, just heat up a cup in the microwave or place it in a pan on the stove and heat on low. Stir often so it doesn’t burn.

Can I Make Instant Pot Apple Cider Ahead of Time

Yes, you sure can make apple cider ahead of time. Whip it up and then store it in a container that is covered, in the fridge. Then when you are ready to serve just heat it up in a pan on stove or slow cooker. Then ladle up and serve.

How Long Does Homemade Apple Cider Last

Store your apple cider in the refrigerator for up to a week in the fridge. Feel free to double or half the recipe if you need to. I recommend only making what you plan to use before it goes bad. Use your best judgment in terms of quality.

Can I Make This Apple Cider In A Slow Cooker

Yes, you can pour all the ingredients in your slow cooker and heat for 6 hours on low. Then when your apple cider is done, pour through a strainer or cheesecloth like you would if done in the pressure cooker.

  2. Directions for this recipe say fill to max line then cook under pressure. The photo looks like it might be safely at 2/3 full, but for most (all?) Instant Pots the max line is actually only for slow cooking and too high for pressure cooking.
