My husband loves shrimp, and he requested a shrimp dish, and that is how this Instant Pot bang bang shrimp pasta dish was created. I wanted something with pasta and he craved shrimp. Instant Pot Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta with bang bang sauce is seriously one of my favorite sauces, and it soaks into the pasta, and when you have a piece of shrimp, pasta, all covered in the sauce, it feels like fireworks go off in your mouth. You get that little kick of heat with a nice tang, that seriously just works perfectly. If you have never hand bang bang shrimp, try it, you are totally missing out. Add in the pasta like I did, and you will just upgrade the wow factor of this dish.
How Spicy Is Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta So I have been asked how spicy this dish is because a lot of people can’t take much heat. It does have some heat and a kick but it isn’t super overwhelming like hot and spicy dishes I have had. You can also use less Sriracha and crush peppers to lower the heat, and then if you feel it needs more add it in and stir and then try it. Truly it is a wonderful dish, and with how fast it can cook up, you will truly be in hog heaven if you like pasta and shrimp! It is a creamy spicy shrimp and pasta dish that is highly addictive and satisfying.
This Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta Dish is Banging!
I use my Instant Pot at least three times a week, and I get asked why. If you look at this dish, it takes just 4 minutes to cook, that is incredible! If I did this on the stove top and oven it could take around 20-30 minutes. Plus with the Instant Pot it really helps keep the moisture in the food, so I don’t have to worry about opening my Instant Pot to dried up shrimp, they are cooked to perfection and it soaks up all the flavors of the spices.
Since I started using my Instant Pot we have had more flavorful dishes, that are cooked incredibly fast, and it makes me and my family happy. Even people who are a bit challenged in the kitchen have found that the Instant Pot allows them to cook meals that are delicious and not burnt! I have so many incredible recipes on my site you should give a try. It truly is a magic pot, it does pretty much everything.
