I love breakfast bake recipes. They make cooking up a breakfast easy, and with the Ninja Foodi, it makes it a one-pot breakfast with minimal cleanup! I used Grands cinnamon rolls as the base and then added in my vanilla, and other ingredients. This makes the prep for this french toast casserole so simple, but with the added ingredients you really transform the flavors of the cinnamon rolls. It makes it taste like a delicious french toast casserole.

Wonder when is a good time to serve up this delicious breakfast dish? Let me share some great ideas with you!

  • Christmas morning
  • New Years Day after you rang in the New Year
  • Mother’s Day
  • Birthday mornings
  • Valentine’s Day (add pink food coloring to icing for a pink/red color)
  • Weekends

You will love the simplicity of this french toast casserole. It is creamy, full of cinnamon flavor, and good down to the last bite!

Ninja Foodi French Toast Casserole

The reason I used my Ninja Foodi for this is I could go from the Instant Pot pressure cooker feature to the Air Fryer feature. You are able to cook quickly with the pressure cooker, and then crisp foods up with the Air Fryer aspect. You get that light crunch on top of the casserole with a tender and moist breading under.

Now you can make this in your Air Fryer as well if you have a straight air fryer.

Try my Ninja Foodi Hashbrown Casserole for a savory breakfast dish as well. One of our family favorites right now.  Maybe a Cracked out Tater Tot Casserole or even Make your own homemade Vanilla.

5 Ingredient French Toast Casserole

I love how this takes just five simple ingredients to make. Grands cinnamon rolls, milk, eggs, vanilla,  and cinnamon! Feel free to leave the icing off or drizzle it on for a sweet treat. Then serve up with powdered sugar or warm maple syrup.

Is French Toast Supposed To Be Soggy

Here is the thing, when you use Grands cinnamon rolls you will get a light and fluffy french toast consistency. Sometimes french toast can get soggy fast if you are not using a heartier bread. With the cinnamon rolls as the bread, it makes for a perfect french toast consistency, and you get that cinnamon flavor in every bite.

How Do You Make French Toast Tasty

Follow my Ninja Foodi casserole recipe and you will have a french toast bake that will stand out in a crowd! Trust me, this recipe is that good, and best of all super easy. Minimal dishes for cleanup and you will barely have leftovers because it is hard to resist the flavors!

So there you have how to make a french toast casserole in your Ninja Foodi! Easy peasy, and done in a hurry!

  1. I just got my Ninja Foodi for Christmas. I made the French toast casserole today and it did not turn out so good. I think I made a mistake and I used the big insert instead of the smaller one. I looked for a u tube video but did not see one. I love the foodi.we made pork teriyaki with rice for dinner tonight and we realized we really do need to adjust our times. If you could clarify which pot to use I would appreciate it

  2. Hello,

Do you pressure cook and then air fry or just bake? The recipe said bake but comments about reference pressure cook than air fry. Thanks!
