Can You Make Baked Goods In Crockpot
Yes you can bake in your crockpot! You might be thinking why would I want to do that. Well, just think in the summer you never have to turn the stove on!
You won’t heat your house, it’s a hands off approach, and this chocolate cake practically cooks itself! Set and forget.
Can You Use Baking Paper In Crockpot
Parchment paper is safe to use in a slow cooker! You are welcome to line your crock so that it helps prevent the cake from sticking.
Or you can skip the parchment and just spoon out the cake. It is up to you on how you prefer to serve.

How To Store
If you have leftover slow cooker cake, all you have to do is place in an airtight container.
This will help prevent it from drying out so fast. I stored my leftover cake in the fridge. I find Cake last longer when chilled.
If you want a warm scoop of this pie then warm in the microwave for a few seconds.
Does This Cake Freeze
Yes, you can freeze the leftover cake. Place in a freezer container and store for up to 2-3 months.
Remove cake and allow to thaw on the counter or in fridge overnight for a slower thaw.

Do you need the crockpot with a sealable lid with clamps.?
no just a regular crockpot is fine
Im so excited to make this!! Do you use salted or unsalted butter? Also do you put the peanut butter topping on after it cooks for two hours or before cooking? Thanks so much!
Why don’t you have the alternate oven method in the printable version?
Well I put this on high in the slow cooker for double the time listed and…nothing. Just batter. I finally just had to bake it. I wouldn’t try it in the slow cooker again but the flavor was good once it did bake.
