It is no secret that I love using my Instant Pot. Last night I was craving a Turkey Dinner after seeing I Save A to Z’s  Chicken & Stuffing Recipe. I wanted to try it out with a twist of my own. I also made Rosemary & Garlic Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes to go with this dish.  Warning I had no leftovers everyone ate this up fast.  Also, check out my list of 20 Must have Instant Pot Recipes.

Instant Pot Turkey Casserole

This is a one-pot casserole that can be served up to your family with a twist and new flavors that gives you a fun way to eat turkey and stuffing. You can make this any time of year.

How Long Do You Cook Instant Pot Turkey Casserole

You will cook for 25 minutes and then add in the last of the ingredients and cook for an additional 8 minutes. This shaves off some time as a traditional casserole in the oven. Just make sure to factor in your Instant Pot needing to come to pressure.

What to Serve With Turkey Casserole

You can serve your turkey casserole with any of your favorite sides. Cranberry sauce, dinner rolls or biscuits, any leftover Thanksgiving sides you might have, corn and more. This is a comforting dish that really offers a great flavor that pairs nicely with most side dishes.

Can You Freeze Leftover Turkey Casserole

You can freeze any leftover casserole you have. The one thing is the stuffing will soften even more, so the texture will be slightly different. You will want to store in an airtight container for up to three months in the freezer. Thaw in the fridge before you choose to reheat.

Can You Reheat Turkey Casserole

You sure can reheat this casserole easily. Simply place any leftovers on a plate and reheat in the microwave. Or turn the oven on to 350 degrees, and pour casserole into the pan, and heat for around 20 minutes or until the casserole is warmed through.

Can I Substitute Chicken For Turkey

Yes, if you have some chicken you can easily replace the turkey. Since turkey and chicken are both mild birds they will give you a very similar flavor.

Why Do You Use Frozen Vegetables for Turkey Stuffing Casserole

I use frozen vegetables when I cook in my Instant Pot because they hold up well during the cooking process. If you were to use cans of veggies, they will break down quite a bit and become mushy. But frozen allows time for the veggies to thaw they will hold up well.

So if you love the flavors of Thanksgiving give this hearty casserole a try and serve up your family and easy meal that will put a smile on their faces.
