I love meatballs, but I hadn’t had a chicken meatball in a long time. I wanted to dress it up and that is where my chicken bacon ranch balls came in to play. It is a great take on the popper recipes you see where a jalapeno pepper is stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon and then cooked to crispy perfection.

Of course! Just use equal amounts for what is called for in the recipe. I have used homemade ranch mix when I was in a bind, and it works just as good as the package!

If you have leftovers just put them in the fridge for up to three days. Then when you want to reheat either warm them in the oven or microwave. The bacon will become slightly chewy but they will taste amazing still.

Air Fryer Chicken Bacon Ranch Poppers are a low carb appetizer or dinner option you don't want to miss. Cheese stuffed chicken meatballs wrapped in bacon!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 6 bacon strips uncooked
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup romano cheese
  • 12 1" squares cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp ranch dip seasoning

Instructions

  1. Mix together ground chicken, egg, bread crumbs, romano cheese, and ranch seasoning until well combined.
  2. Shape into 1" balls.
  3. Press a square of cheddar in the center and form the meatball so the cheese is in the center.
  4. Wrap a slice of bacon around each meatball.
  5. Preheat Airfryer to 350 for 5 minutes.
  6. Place meatballs in a single layer in your basket.
  7. Cook for 15 minutes on 350.
