Easy Ham and Cheese Ninja Foodi Stromboli

The Ninja Foodi wonderfully at baking up the stromboli so it was nice and golden brown on top, with a soft and flaky dough and cheesy and warmed center. I found that lining my pan with parchment paper saved on cleanup, but also makes removing and slicing up my ham and cheese stromboli a breeze.

I love to call these our fun weeknight meal. The stromboli takes minimal time to make and is packed full of vibrant flavors. Dip in ranch dressing or eat as is. I pair with either salty chips or say a vegetable salad. It is a nice treat for me and my husband.

What is Stromboli anyway? A crusty bread or dough that is filled with ham, cheese, mustard, and rolled up and baked. You let it cook up until hot and bubbly, then pull it out, slice and serve. This is a dish that feeds the family, young and old. This recipe is always a hit at dinner when I make it.

How to Make Ham and Cheese Stromboli in the Ninja Foodi

So you all know I have a new friend, it is called the Ninja Foodi! Has it replaced my Instant Pot, no, not yet? It has become another BFF in my kitchen though, that is getting quite a bit of use.

I simply assembled my stromboli and then laid it on some parchment paper and placed in my Foodi. Then I used the bake setting and cooked it for 20 minutes. It gave the crescent roll dough that golden brown that you want, with a slight crunch as you bite into it. The process of making it was so easy, and thanks to the parchment paper, the cleanup was a breeze.

If you have been on the fence about the Ninja Foodi, my advice, get one! I have loved having it in our kitchen, and I have made a ton of recipes so far with minimal messes. The Ninja will save energy, not heat the house, and help you get those wholesome and satisfying meals to that dinner table in a hurry.

  1. This recipe is very tasty but the cooking instructions need improvements. I found the baking function not to be the best way to cook in Foodi. It only browned the top side and when trying to turn it over it was to soft on the underside to flip. It began to break even after I tried cutting it in half. So on a second one I cooked it on the low rack with no parchment paper. Just spray the rack with oil and cut the roll into two sections. Place on rack and air fry at 360. Check every 5 minutes and turn over when browned and crispy on to other side. Continue to airfry until second side is crisp and browned.
