Pizza Monkey Bread
Pizza Monkey Bread is loaded with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and made with canned biscuits, then dipped in marinara sauce. This quick and easy appetizer is great for a party or a quick weeknight meal.
Since I live in a part of New York that has the best pizza in the world, I could eat pizza every single day. Like my Cast Iron Skillet Pizza or a Pizza from Tony’s Pizzeria. Since I don’t always have the time for take out I like to throw together easy meals and appetizers like this.
Ingredients for Pizza Monkey Bread
- Grands Biscuits: (2) 16 oz cans of biscuits dough.
- Mozzarella Cheese: Shredded Cheese 8 oz.
- Melted Butter: 1 stick of real butter melted in the microwave.
- Garlic Powder: 1 Tsp garlic powder or minced garlic.
- Fresh Parsley: For Garnish
- Parmesan Cheese: grated Parmesan cheese.
- Pepperoni: Pepperoni slices can use the mini pepperoni.
- Pizza Sauce: I like to use Don Pepino pizza sauce, but you can use your favorite.
Step by Step Directions
Step 1:
Preheat the Oven to 350 degrees.
Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
Melt Butter and set aside.
Step 2:
Mix together garlic powder and melted butter.
Pour Melted Butter over biscuit pieces in a large bowl.
Step 3:
Add Cheese, Pepperoni, and parsley.
Stir the mixture and place in a bundt pan.
Step 4:
Add mixture into a greased bundt pan.
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5:
Remove Bundt pan from oven.
Flip the pan over onto a large cutting board or serving tray.
Serve warm with a dipping sauce.
Tips and Tricks
- Use original Grands biscuits, not the honey-flavored ones.
- Spray the pan with cooking spray or olive oil so the bread will easily come out of the pan.
- Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces by cutting down the middle and then cutting each in half.
