How to make Muddy Buddy with Chex Mix
- You will want to gather your ingredients, measure cereal, and set them out. Add powdered sugar to each gallon zip lock bag.
- First, you will want to melt the chocolate chips peanut butter together by microwaving in 30-second increments.
- Once the chocolate peanut butter mixture is smooth and melted, pour over the Chex mix in a large bowl.
- Coat the cereal using a rubber spatula and fold in the chocolate. Do this gently and not too rough so you do not smash a lot of the Chex.
- Once the Chex is coated well, add half to one bag and the other half to the second.
- Close the top and mix in the plastic bag, shaking gently. Once coated well, you can either combine them in one bag with sprinkles and they are ready to eat.
- I used a strainer to pour the mixture in and shake loose powder sugar that was extra then add to one big bag with the sprinkles etc. Enjoy
